Daylesford Outside School Hours Care Enrolment form for After School Care and Vacation Care

Facebook - Daylesford Outside School Hours Care

hungry caterpillar cafe

From our Hungry Caterpillar cafe the Centre provides both morning and afternoon teas as well as a midday meal - which is usually hot. Meal times don't just mean food! We believe it is a time for socialising, learning and experimenting. We provide a variety of foods and encourage children to try things they may not normally attempt.

Our children's menu for the week can be found written on the blackboard near the kitchen.

Dossie Dinners

Our magnificent cook, Dossie Hocking, also prepares wholesome take home meals for families.

You will find these meals in the freezer at the kitchen door. They can be purchased at any time, with all proceeds going towards centre equipment and playground development. So when you purchase a “Dossie Dinner” not only are you buying a nourishing meal for your family that requires no effort to prepare, you are also helping the centre in our fundraising efforts.

Allergies

The centre is experienced in managing any allergies or food intolerance your child may have. Parents with such needs will fill out a an Allergy Management plan as part of their enrolment.

Young eaters

We ask parents of small babies to provide their own educational diet until 12 months of age or until such time as the baby can manage Centre food.

Breastfeeding is welcome in the Centre. Please feel free to breastfeed your baby or toddler at drop off, pick up or during their day in care. (If you need a quiet space for this, please let us know, otherwise find a cosy space in your child’s room.) Please mark bottles of your expressed breastmilk (EBM) so our staff can store and warm it accordingly.

Bottles and containers should be clearly labelled and please supply a stock bottle of your baby’s formula and an empty bottle so that the milk is only heated once.
